The film "Seduced and abandoned" was almost entirely shot in the city of Sciacca.
Seduced and abandoned is a 1964 film directed by Pietro Germi and starring Stefania Sandrelli, Aldo Puglisi, Saro Urzì and Lando Buzzanca. The film is part of a trilogy that began with "Divorzio all'italiana" and ended with "Signore & Signori".
The film, set in the city of Sciacca, tells the story of Agnese, sixteen, seduced by her sister's boyfriend Matilde. The father demands a remedial wedding, but the seducer abandons her.
The film was shot mainly in the city of Sciacca, some scenes were shot in the villages of Caltabellotta, Santa Margherita del Belice and Siculania.
