On the occasion of the Carnival of Geraci Siculo, the streets of the historic center of the Madonite village are usually enlivened by parades of masked groups and allegorical floats. The event is organized by the nanni e niputi association, i.e. grandparents and grandchildren who organize the great parade and build the carts.
