Festa di S. Antonio a Poggioreale
The traditional celebrations in honor of the Patron Saint Anthony of Padua take place on 12 and 13 June in Poggioreale. On 13 June the procession takes place which, starting from the churchyard of the Mother Church, crosses the streets of Poggioreale until late at night. The simulacrum of the Saint is accompanied by two wings of the faithful whose composure makes the event very moving and austere.
