Procession of the Mysteries
On the occasion of Easter in Buseto Palizzolo the sacred representation The Procession of the Mysteries takes place. It is a suggestive event that recalls some moments of the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The representation consists of sixteen living paintings animated by many figures in period costume. The living paintings are placed on scenographic floats which move in procession through the streets of the village throughout the afternoon, following a very precious wooden Crucifix dating back to the end of the sixteenth century, and groups of faithful in traditional penitential clothes.
