The Muffoletta Festival in San Cataldo takes place in November and celebrates a typical specialty of this village: the muffoletta, a soft sandwich which is enjoyed in a savory version with cheese and new oil and in a sweet version with honey and ricotta .
On the occasion of the event, a gastronomic journey will be set up where you can taste the muffoletta, in a sweet or savory version, and other typical local specialities.
Numerous collateral events are also organised: guided visits to the historic centre, to the monuments of the village , and to the Gabbara mineralogical site; theatrical events, musical, folkloristic and entertainment shows.
