The main film event of the Italian summer, within the Taormina Arte review. In the splendid setting of the Ancient Theater the Nastri D'Argento, an event during which the best film of the year is awarded.
Since 2007, the festival has become a focal point for the international film culture. The Taormina Film festival is a great "showcase" of major film premieres from Hollywood and the rest of the world. Each year the Festival presents a selection of world premiere films. The main Italian summer event, with various moments of great cultural profile but also glamorous evenings full of international stars.
