Cala Zimmari Beach in Panarea

The Cala degli Zimmari beach in Panarea is the only sandy beach on the island. The beach is also known as the "red beach" due to the particular reddish color of its sand. It is characterized by a gently sloping seabed, which is why it is also suitable for families with children. The beach is also recommended for snorkelers due to the rocky part to the left of this small cove which offers sea beds rich in flora and fauna.
Cala degli Zimmari beach is easily reachable on foot, with a path lasting about about twenty minutes, taking the path that from San Pietro leads to Ditella.
