Piazza Duomo in Caccamo
The Piazza del Duomo is one of the most elegant architectural environments of Caccamo , an evocative setting used as a setting for important outdoor shows and cultural events.
This scenographic space is arranged on two levels. The 17th century Palazzo del Monte di Pietà overlooks the higher north side. flanked, on the left, by the Oratory of the Blessed Sacrament and, on the right, by the Church of the Holy Souls of Purgatory . The enchanting scenery forms a sort of terrace overlooking the lower level of the square. The balustrade, which acts as a connecting element, is marked by the four statues of Blessed Giovanni Liccio, of Santa Rosalia, San Nicasio and San Teotista.
