Ethnographic museum in Corleone
The Corleonese Ethnographic Museum, located in the premises of the former monastery of the Olivetan friars, houses a collection of over two thousand objects from the peasant and artisan world of the Corleonese territory.
The objects on display date back to a period between end of the nineteenth century and the forties of the twentieth century.
The museum itinerary is divided into different rooms: the stable, the kitchen, the bedroom, the work room and the tool room.
Among the objects kept inside the museum and of particular historical value are: an ancient loom, a manger for animals, two wine presses, several wooden and iron ploughs, an agricultural cart used for transporting various materials.
