Church of Sant'Anna in Floridia
The Church of Sant'Anna in Floridia is an ancient place of worship in the village.
The current building was constructed in the early nineteenth century on the remains of the ancient Church of Santa Flora, destroyed by the earthquake of 1693.
The simple gabled façade is delimited by two pilasters and is flanked, on the right, by a tall bell tower. In the center is the portal surmounted by a curved tympanum with a depressed arch. At the top is a niche with the statue of the Saint.
The interior, with a single nave, is enriched by fine decorations and valuable frescoes on the vault and apse. It has marble altars of fine workmanship.
