The Opera dei Pupi Famiglia Puglisi Museum, located in the former convent of San Francesco, is a symbol of the city's culture.
The museum houses numerous and beautiful puppets from the collection that belonged to Don Ignazio Puglisi, an artist who personally painted the canvases which formed the backdrop to the performances.
Inside the museum it is also possible to relive the exploits of the Paladins of France on the basis of the ancient manuscripts of the Puglisi family and of new elaborations freely drawn from the poems of Ariosto, Boiardo, Pulci , stories reworked from the Bible and stories of Saints.
