Durazzesco Arch in Forza D'Agrò
The ancient Arco Durazzesco in Forza D'Agrò is located in the eastern part of the town, in an elevated place, and can be reached via a suggestive semicircular staircase in sandstone. The Durazzesco Arch, in Catalan Gothic style, opens onto the Piazza della Triade, overlooked by the ancient church of the Holy Trinity and the Augustinian Convent. The square, adorned with palm trees, is one of the most evocative points of Forza d'Agrò. From the square you can enjoy a wonderful view, you can admire the small town of Forza D’grò with the houses huddled together tightly around the Castle and the bay of Taormina.
