Calvary Church in Savoca
The Church of Calvario di Savoca was built in the 18th century on the ruins of a hermitage where some Basilian monks from the abbey of the Church of Santi Pietro e Paolo d'Agrò resided. The church is dedicated to the "Blessed Virgin of the Seven Sorrows and of the Holy Cross". The representations of Holy Week take place here every year.
