The territory of Alcamo D.O.C., strongly characterized by the extraordinary geometry of the "espalier or awning" vineyards, is one of the most renowned territories in Italy for the production of wines. Its production area falls in some selected areas of the provinces of Trapani and Palermo. In particular, the "Bianco d'Alcamo" is one of the most precious and appreciated wines, which was recognized the "Denomination of Controlled Origin" in 1972.
