Ghiotta of tuna
Ghiotta of tuna is a second dish typical of the Syracusan culinary tradition. The dish is also known as tuna with peppers or Syracusan-style tonnina and is made by combining fish with peppers.
There is a second version of "ghiotta di tuna" in which the onion constitutes the peppers. In this case the dish is flavored with peeled tomatoes, capers and white wine.
