Sicilian Marranzano

The Sicilian marranzano, also called the Sicilian harp, is an instrument of the Sicilian tradition.
The marranzano is an iron instrument in the shape of a lyre with a tongue in the center that is played by placing it against the teeth and vibrating with the fingertip of the thumb or 'indicates the tongue itself.
Marranzano is known in Palermo with the name of “Mariuolu”, in Catania as “Marauni” and in Agrigento as “Ngannalaruni”.
