Dittaino PDO bread is a durum wheat bread, which retains its fragrance for 5 days, produced in the Dittaino Valley, in the province of Enna. The origin of Pagnotta del Dittaino PDO is linked to the tradition, traditionally rooted in Sicily, of using durum wheat for the production of bakery products. It comes in the traditional round shape with a crust between 3 and 4 mm thick, and a soft yellow crumb with fine-grained alveolation.
