Feast of Santa Magherita in Pozzillo - Acireale

The Feast of Santa Magherita in Pozzillo, a seaside village of Acireale, takes place every year in the second half of July. During the festivities a rich liturgical calendar takes place which culminates, on the day of the feast, with the procession of the relics of the Patron Saint which are carried from the parish church to the square in front of the port where they are embarked for the evocative procession and blessing of the sea .
During the festivities, various folkloristic, musical and entertainment events are organised.
