Historical re-enactment of San Giovanni in Castelvetrano
The Historical Reenactment of San Giovanni Battista takes place in Castelvetrano on the Sunday before June 24, the day of the saint's proclamation. On the occasion of the celebrations, a historical procession takes place enriched by the presence of living paintings, spectacular performances by flag-wavers, musicians and ancient dances that were danced in the Renaissance courts by the nobles.
