Castelvetrano Artichoke Festival takes place on the Saturday following Easter.
Castelvetrano is a large agricultural center and the cultivation of artichokes is very widespread to the point that the inhabitants of Castelvetrano are historically called "Carcucciulari". During the festival, numerous stands are set up with typical products and catering points dedicated to artichokes and the many artichoke-based preparations, such as roasted artichokes, artichoke omelettes, roasted artichokes, artichoke tabbouleh, artichoke sushi and artichoke rosolio.
