The Grotta di Eolo in Stromboli is a natural cave where, according to the legend, Aeolus chose to guard the winds. The beach of Aeolus, in front of the cave, is the ideal place to admire the sunrise: at sunrise, splendid plays of light are created thanks to the rays of the sun that emerge behind the Strombolicchio. The dark waters are the ideal destination for snorkelers and offer incredible scenery: expanses of gorgonians, mighty spider crabs and schools of barracudas.
