Shrine of Mary of Jesus of Santocanale in Cinisi
The diocesan Shrine of Mary of Jesus of Santocanale is dedicated to Blessed Mary of Jesus Santocanale, who dedicated her life to orphans and the poor, founding a boarding school.
The Shrine is located in the church built in Cinisi in 1904 by the same blessed it has become a pilgrimage destination and a point of reference for various ecclesial realities from various parts of Sicily.
Inside the Sanctuary is the apartment of Santa Maria di Gesù Santocanale.
Several miracles have been attributed to the blessed and Pope Francis authorized her canonization.
