Clock Museum in Bisacquino



The Bisacquino Clock Museum houses a great variety and quantity of clocks, mechanisms and inventions, but above all the memory of the work of Paolo Scibetta, considered the last craftsman of the time.
The museum is housed in the premises of the artisan workshop of Paolo Scibetta and is now looked after by his son Valerio.
The tools once used for the construction of watches and many examples of the same are kept in the small museum. A map of Sicily made of sheet metal is also on display, which indicates all the places where there is a work by the Scibetta family, which gives an idea of ​​the great and important activity carried out by this family.
To the workshop of Paolo Scibetta is tied to a small curiosity: the great director Luchino Visconti here commissioned a very special watch .
