The Finestrelle Wood is located on Finestrelle Mount which is part of a rather extensive plateau characterized by chalky outcrops where strips of Mediterranean scrub still survive, characterized by the flowering of the Euphorbia arborea, thyme and wild orchids; in the valleys there is a luxuriant riparian vegetation, of great interest due to the high diversity of the flora.
