The Municipal Library of Melilli is housed in one of the most important civil buildings in the city.
The building is adorned with an entrance with a stylized masonry arch with an ancient rose window immediately below. The windows are also adorned with masonry structures worked with extreme skill and attention to detail. Of particular value are the capitals that give the columns a particular artistic depth.
The interior rooms are characterized not only by well-stocked shelves full of books, but also by frescoed ceilings with soft colors and with paintings depicting the main cities of Italy.
