The Erice DOC denomination is found in the far west of Sicily and includes red and white wines from the area around the ancient city of Erice, once one of the main medieval citadels in the province of Trapani. Erice DOC wines are generally dry, with the notable exception of its two Late Harvests based on Zibibbo and Sauvignon and the relatively sweet version of Erice Spumante DOC.
