The Testa di Moro is a characteristic object of the Sicilian tradition. It is a hand-painted ceramic vase used as an ornament depicting the face of a Moor usually flanked by that of a young woman.
The Moor and the young woman are the protagonists of a leggenda which gave rise to this particular object of the Sicilian tradition.
