Caltagirone Teatrino
The Teatrino di Caltagirone is located on the eastern side of the Public Garden.
It was built in 1792 on a project by Natale Bonaiuto. The structure is divided into various orders and floors communicating with seats and terraces decorated with polychrome majolica provided by local potters.
The style that characterizes the Teatrino is echoed in the decorations inside the public garden.
The Teatrino is one of the entrances to the villa of Caltagirone and, the terminal part consisting of three arches , acts as an entrance to the National Museum of Ceramics.
