Milena Castle
The ruins of the ancient Castle of Milocca, known as Milena, are located on the top of Monte Conca, within the Monte Conca Oriented Nature Reserve.
The existence of a Castle in Milocca is documented in starting from the second half of the thirteenth century but the remains found in the area suggest the existence of a fortress as early as the eleventh century.
At the highest point of Monte Conca the few remains of the foundations of a tower are still visible with an almost square base with a side of approximately 25 metres.
