Via della Vittoria, 24 - Mussomeli (CL)

The Sgadari Palace in Mussomeli is one of the most representative civil buildings in the city.
It was built at the behest of Antonio Sgadari, brother of Francesco, baron of Petralia. It was transformed into a prison in the 19th century and subsequently became the Town Hall of Mussomeli.
Its current appearance is due to a refurbishment which took place in the 20s of the 20th century.
Its façade has pilasters, cornices, balustrades, carved stone shelves and the Castellar coat of arms, which over time became the coat of arms of the city, placed on top of the building.
Today the Sgadari Palace is the seat of the Archaeological Antiquarium of Mussomeli.
