Domenico Modugno Tribute in Messina
An artistic event with the clear intention of paying homage to the great Domenico Modugno and his close relationship with Sicily. After getting married, in fact, Modugno lived for three years in Messina, a period during which he drew inspiration to write several of his masterpieces.
Under the direction of Maestro Dino Visalli, Riccardo Pirrone will conduct and sing accompanied by the Band del Mediterraneo composed of musicians of the caliber of Andrea di Mauro, Paolo Corda, Katia Mirabile, Giovanni Piccinini and the voices of Claudia Ceravolo and Ludovica Bruno; special guest the flautist Daria Grillo.
The most beautiful and significant songs reworked in a different and captivating key with the aim of further underlining their musical-literary value.
