Feast of the Easter Lamb in Favara

The Feast of the Easter Lamb in Favara takes place annually during the Easter period and is dedicated to the typical sweet of mandola paste stuffed with pistachio, which in the Easter period takes the form of Lamb. Inside the rooms of the Chiaramonte Castle are set up tasting stands of the typical sweet of the city of Favara, of typical almond and pistachio sweets prepared by local pastry shops and of agri-food products linked to the territory. During the event, folkloristic exhibitions and performances are also organized.

The XXVII edition of the Easter Lamb Festival of Favara.
The event, promoted by the Municipality of Favara - Department of Productive Activities, in collaboration with the DMO Valle dei Templi Tourist District, was created shortly after Easter to support a project to deseasonalize the typical dessert of Favara that is now made and consumed all year round and also to offer tourists a new opportunity to learn about the art, culture and food of Favara.
Three days of music, shows, tastings, masterclasses, visits, games and artisan markets that will take place in Piazza Cavour.
