Feast of San Calogero in Mussomeli
In Mussomeli, the celebrations in honor of San Calogero take place on the last Sunday of August. On the occasion of the celebrations, the simulacrum of the saint is carried in procession through the city streets and a large table is set up in front of the church with the display of the traditional 'mbraculi di San Calogero, that is, the blessed breads prepared by women of the neighborhood and neighboring districts and offered by devotees to those present.
