Festa di Santa Rosalia a Santo Stefano Quisquina 2024
The celebrations in honor of Santa Rosalia in Santo Stefano Quisquina traditionally take place on the first Sunday of June.
The cult for Santa Rosalia is deeply felt in the village of Santo Stefano Quisquina as the Saint lived in this place for twelve years .
On the feast day, the silver bust with the relics of the Saint is carried in procession, donated on 25 September 1625 by the Archbishop of Palermo to Prince Ventimiglia. It is a very suggestive procession that every year attracts many faithful.
On the occasion of the celebrations, numerous folkloristic events are also held, the traditional Calvalcata in honor of Santa Rosalia, the lunch based on lamb and the Festival of Santa Rosalia
