Medieval Trapani is the historical re-enactment which takes place in the month of November and which commemorates the entry of Frederick III of Sicily into the city of the two seas and the figure of the infant Manfredi, who died on 9 November 1317 and was buried in the Royal Church of San Domenico.
On the occasion of the historical re-enactment, a procession takes place with royalty, nobles, ladies and knights in period costume led by King Frederick III of Sicily and his wife Eleonora D'Angiò who pay homage to their son Manfredi of Trinacria. A historic village is also set up with merchants and their wares and artisans and their art, and the taste taberna where you can taste ancient and traditional local specialties.
Street artists, jugglers, musicians, flag-wavers will enrich the celebration with shows and exhibitions
