Festival of Busiata in Salemi
The Busiata Festival in Salemi traditionally takes place in the month of August and celebrates a typical dish of the Trapani area, the Busiata, a typical handmade pasta.
On the occasion of the event, numerous stands are set up for tasting this pasta prepared with Tumminia wheat, with egg and also gluten free, to satisfy every request. Naturally, the busiata will be served with various traditional sauces and pestos made with typical local products. During the event, musical, folkloristic and entertainment shows are organised.
