Prickly Pear Mostarda Festival in Gagliano Castelferrato

The prickly pear mustard festival in Gagliano Castelferrato takes place in the month of October and has as its objective the promotion and valorisation of typical products and local traditions.
On the occasion of the gastronomic event, a village of flavors is set up where you can taste Bastardoni di Sicilia prickly pears, mustard and other products and specialties of the area.
Show cooking events are also organised, during which prickly pear mustard will be prepared in the traditional Quadaruni, tastings of traditional dishes, visits guided tours of the ecclesiastical and cultural heritage of the village, folkloristic, musical and entertainment shows.
