Via Porto Ponente - Vulcano (ME)

The Spiaggia di Baia Negra , also known as Spiaggia di Sabbie Nere , is the symbolic beach of Vulcano , famous worldwide for the black color of its sand of volcanic origin. The play of colors and lights is extremely suggestive and unique: the black of the sand contrasts with the blue of the clear and crystalline waters. The seabed is shallow and slopes gently towards the open sea.
The beach is also recommended for families with children and is easily accessible.
