Marine Protected Area Headquarters in Lampedusa

The Headquarters of the Pelagie Islands Protected Marine Area, located in Lampedusa, collects information, photographs and exhibitions about the Pelagie Islands Protected Marine Area. Particular attention is paid to the fauna of these islands which is of considerable importance for the number of species that inhabit them including dolphins and sea turtles of the Caretta Caretta species which regularly nest on beaches of Lampedusa and Linosa.
