The Church of Santa Maria li Recommended in Castel di Lucio was the seat, in the 1700s, of the congregation of the Daughters of Sant'Anna.
The church houses valuable works inside: a small sixteenth-century wooden statue, by an unknown author , depicting the martyrdom of San Sebastiano; a small eighteenth-century canvas, enclosed by a stucco frame, depicting San Francesco di Paola, kept in the sacristy.
