Church of the Holy Spirit in Montalbano Elicona
The Church of the Holy Spirit in Montalbano Elicona is an ancient building of worship in the village.
It was built in 1300 and has various architectural affinities with the Church of Santa Caterina.
The simple gabled façade in stone features a valuable portal in Romanesque style.
Inside the church you can see three sandstone niches with sculpted capitals, in which were placed three canvases depicting the descent of the Holy Spirit, San Calogero and San Francesco di Paola.
