Monte Catalfano Park
The Monte Catalfano Park , not far from the town of Bagheria, offers breathtaking views over the Gulf of Palermo . Inside the park it is possible to visit the vertical cliffs of Vignazza , a large amphitheater-like area where there are caves of marine origin, some of which still retain evidence of human frequentation prehistoric. & lt; br & gt; The flora of Mount Catalfano alternates reforested areas with areas of Mediterranean scrub. Among the avifauna present in the park, the peregrine falcon, the kestrel, the blue rock thrush and the saltimpalo should be mentioned.
