Vallone del Furi in Cinisi is a real stage at a considerable altitude above sea level from which you can enjoy a breathtaking view.
It is an ideal place for lovers of trekking and unspoilt nature. Its slopes are full of luxuriant trees, from ash trees to olive trees up to carob trees.
Going up the Vallone del Furi it is possible to reach the Accitella fountain, located at 600 meters, and the Bosco di Santo Canale, dominated by Pizzo Montanello, at an altitude of almost a thousand metres.
The Bosco di Santo Canale is a large holm oak forest, and is the destination of numerous naturalistic itineraries, such as the one that winds through the woods and then continues up to the top of Montagna Longa.
The area is suitable for trekking and hiking even for beginners and the elevation gain is limited, although occasionally there are some short stretches of natural terrain off the beaten track.
