The Pizzutello tomato from the Ericine valleys is grown on the slopes of Mount Erice, in the Ericine valleys, an area of red earth, rich in salinity, which offer agricultural products of the highest quality.
Pizzutello tomatoes from the Ericine valleys are very sweet , excellent to be eaten fresh, but can also be transformed into puree or preserved hanging in clusters, tied with strings of string.
Together with Nubian red garlic, pizzutelli tomatoes are the basic ingredients of the traditional Trapani pesto.
