Cozzo Disi Mine Museum
The Cozzo di Disi solfara or Cozzo Disi mine is a sulfur mine located in the province of Agrigento, between the municipalities of Casteltermini and Campofranco. It was one of the most important of the Italian sulfur mines, it was the last of the great Italian sulfur mines to be closed in 1988. It was maintained until 1992 and this allowed it to be reactivated as a museum.
