Garibaldi Villa in Gela

Villa Garibaldi in Gela is the public garden of the city.
It was inaugurated in 1878 and built in the area once occupied by the garden of the adjacent convent of the Capuchin fathers .
The garden is adorned with the marble busts of Garibaldi and Umberto I and has numerous secular trees that offer refreshment and shelter on hot summer days.
