Festival of Frittedda in Isnello

The Sagra della Frittella is organized every year in Isnello in spring and celebrates the Frittedda, a typical dish of the area made with broad beans, peas, artichokes and wild fennel.
On the occasion of the gastronomic event the freshly picked vegetables are cooked in large pots, the square. The dish is thus served hot to all visitors accompanied by croutons and good local wine. During the festival it will also be possible to taste numerous other local specialties made with fresh country vegetables.
