Fried Vastedda Festival in Gratteri
The Vastedda Fritta festival in Gratteri traditionally takes place on 14 August and celebrates a typical dish of the village: the Vastedda Fritta, a fried loaf served hot which is sprinkled with sugar or seasoned with anchovies and salt.
On the occasion of the gastronomic review, organized by the Pro Loco, various stands are set up for tasting the vastedda and typical local products and an artisan village along the main street of the village.
