Marina Lunga in Lipari
Marina Lunga in Lipari is located north of the Sottomonastero landing place and extends to the port of Pignataro. Marina Lunga is the ancient "Marina di San Niccolò". A long and wide beach of dark sand overlooked by an uninterrupted curtain of houses inhabited by fishermen. Today Marina Lunga has become a port area with intense maritime traffic made even more consistent by the presence of many piers for boats and pleasure yachts. Behind the bay of Marina Lunga and the nearby Marina Corta extends the city with its course, dotted with shops and restaurants.
