The Capo Calavà Path in Gioiosa Marea is a nature trail that winds along the ridge of the Rocca di Capo Calavà on the traces of what was the Via Consolare Valeria in Roman times and which under the Aragonese dominion it took the name of Trazzera Regia, which connected Capo Calavà with Randazzo and Gioiosa Marea with Patti.
The route, of great naturalistic and scenic beauty, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, it ends on the top of the Rocca di Calavà, where there is an ancient watchtower.
